A receipt of where your workday went.
A Mac menu bar app that notices where your day went, app by app, then prints you a receipt for it at closing time. $9 once.
About Punchcard
Punchcard is a Mac menu bar app that quietly notices where your day went, app by app (and site by site in the browser, if you switch that on). At the hour you pick, it prints a receipt of your day: itemized, stamped and ready to post, exported as an image.
No projects, no timers to remember and no account. It notices when you step away, so lunch is not counted as work. It asks for no special permissions to get going, keeps everything in one file on your Mac, and has no analytics.
Free to try with two receipts on the house, then $9 once. macOS 13 or later, Apple silicon and Intel.
Highlights
- Every receipt exports as a 1080 by 1350 PNG, with a plain-text version on your clipboard for alt text.
- The barcode on each receipt is real Code 128 and encodes that day's date.
- Sunday prints a long roll for the week, and the end of a month prints a longer one.
- Add any app or website to the never-print list and it vanishes from the roll.
- Three paper rolls: Classic and Kraft are free, Blueprint comes with the $9 license.
- Two Macs on one license key, every future update included.
